I designed and fabricated a welded a custom steel rig for performance troop, LaVuelta Ensemble, for their residency at Urban Theater Chicago. The group wanted a jungle gym inspired design for their trapeze and circus arts performers to reflect on their mental comfort caves formed during a pandemic. The Cube within a cube design was a visual metaphor for the external self vs internal self that create tensions when we self reflect in a solitary environment.
